Photographic Books

A selection of hardback beautifully printed collectable photographic art books. I have created designed and published myself either under TnT-Photoart as in the case of "Elemental Tangents" or with Briar Ridge Books where I work alongside a local writer to create "The Journey Series" of visual verse books and the Dreamscape coffee table book 'Shirelands'.

Elemental Tangents
A very special book lovingly created about Mother Nature and her Elements. Which as a landscape photographer I am often out in and in awe of. Created and designed by myself with music written and performed especially for the 25 chosen images by Stephen Paine of LEGEND fame. The music has a different Tangent for each element Air, Fire, Water, Earth, Spirit each lovingly composed with the images in mind, but also to take your imagination on a journey in whichever direction you need it to go. Approximately an hour in length a real opportunity to sit back and relax with Mother Nature's 'Elemental Tangents'.

Briar Ridge Books
I have produced three landscape visual verse books (working on "The Crystal Lake, Part Three of The Journey" at present) all of which are designed and photographed by myself with poetic verse by a local writer Hilary Jane Jones, we published all books under our own publisher Briar Ridge Books. A love for the beauty of nature and the mystery of The Marches area first drew me Shropshire. It was for me a place to heal. On hearing Hilary's poetry one evening at Burway Books I asked Hilary if she would like to write some new pieces of poetry for some of my landscapes to go into a book. We are constantly amazed at the extraordinary scenery that surrounds us, and in the Dreamscape coffee table book "Shirelands" we celebrate our joint love of the natural landscape. My own photography - often described as “painting with light” - is brought to life alongside Hilary’s perceptive and imaginative verse. See latent landscapes emerging, mystical, ethereal figures hidden within nature, dark gothic structures, sunrises, sunsets, misty vales .... and so much more that you may not have realised was there.

See all layers of the living landscape in haunting images with hidden secrets: fantasy, reality, or a trick of the eye - who can say?
